Basically, this is an online resume. Some people have to do searches on my name to find out about my personal life before they will engage . It just goes with the territory now days.
For the most part I am an "Open Book". I am an old guy and started posting on the web before Al Gore invented the Internet, so you may find some bone headed flame wars I was in about the virtues of X2 56k Modems or whether Jeff Beck is a better guitar player than Jimmy Page. (btw: Beck, definitely Beck) You are going to find out that I am a Christian. The bible says that "our very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at us. Christ himself wrote it—not with ink, but with God’s living Spirit." You will find out that I was in a horrible car accident several years ago that resulted in the death of a really nice person. I had a really cool dad that I am named after that passed away from Parkinson. So this bio is a wonderful mix of my public work, and my personal thoughts. *Don't ask me why but the bios are written in the third person. It is weird but here you go. *
Work
A self-declared old school geek. During much of his early years, Pierre rarely left his parents basement as he actually used a TRS-80 and owned an Atari 2600. While most of his friends were putting up posters of Farah Faucet and playing Pac Man, his fondest memory of turning 17 was playing with a 2400 baud modem. He sold his first Packard Bell XT 8088 computer in 1988 when they came with no hard drives, and 512 k of RAM. However the highlight of the 80’s for him was seeing U2 live at a Fountain St. Church in Grand Rapids when they were just an “Indy Band” from Ireland.
Pierre is currently working for Microsoft as a Senior Dynamics Field Service Technical Sales Professional after serving as the Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer for Scribe Software where his duties took him all over the world meeting with organizations to help them understand how to integrate complex customer data. Pierre has over 25 years of experience in information technology, sales, and marketing. After 10 years in the Hardware and telecommunications side of the business,with stops at Inacomp, and AT&T, he started CRM consulting in 1999 and has since been involved in hundreds of CRM projects. He has worked with Microsoft Dynamics CRM since its release in 2002, and help built a successful Microsoft CRM Gold Certified consulting practice. He spent time as the CRM consultant for Wennsoft on the Evolution platform, a field service application built on Dynamics CRM. His certifications include Microsoft CRM, Scribe, Goldmine, HEAT. Pierre is also a certified facilitator for "Who Moved My Cheese?".
He is a nationally-recognized expert in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and complex data migration and integration projects. Pierre was a contributing author to the book Teach Yourself Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 in 24 Hours. A frequent conference speaker Pierre has presented at: CRM Evolution, Microsoft Convergence; Microsoft Partner Conference; Dynamics CRMUG, Dynamics AXUG, and the Information Technology Alliance. Pierre was in the inaugural group of Scribe MVP's and was the Chief Solution Architect for Infuse, a Microsoft-certified integration between Microsoft Dynamics SL and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Personal
Pierre plays keyboards in his church band,on a wonderful Yamaha MOX8. He also owns a Hammond L1000, with a cool Leslie Cabinet, upon which he pretends to channel the spirit of Jimmy Smith.
Note to any potential employer or contractor: I would do this full time if I could. The chances of this happening is very low, but be warned if Fred Hammond calls me up I may have to split for the big lights of stage and screen.
He based in West Michigan where he and his wife have goofed of with their 3 kids for the past 25 years.
Note to spouse and kids: Sorry if I post things that embarrass you, but then again that should come as no surprise. You have know me for many years and I can be embarrassing. Nobody is reading this anyway... get over it.
